Everything is free: local and online play, every map, every mode and every item. You don't even need an account. Just pick a name and play as a guest.
Every critter and every balloon skin can be earned by playing. A few skins can also be bought to skip the wait, and there's a tip jar to help pay for the servers. Purchases are optional and only cosmetic. They never help you win.
No ads.
What we store (and don't)
Guests: nothing about you is saved on our server. Your progress stays in this browser.
Accounts: just a username, your password and recovery code in scrambled (hashed) form that can't be read back, and your game progress. No email, real name, birthday or phone number.
Payments: Stripe handles the whole payment on its own secure page. We never see or store your card details. Stripe may ask for an email to send your receipt; we don't keep it, or your name or address. We only record what was bought, the amount, the date and Stripe's reference number, so refunds work.
Bug reports: what you type (contact details only if you choose to add them), your browser type, recent error messages, and a picture of the game if you tick that box.
Usage numbers: only daily totals, like "120 visitors today". Visitors are counted with a one-way code that is deleted after a few days, and the rough region comes from your device's time-zone setting. We never save your IP address.
Online play: your name, critter and chat are shown to the people in your room. Chat isn't saved.
No cookies, no trackers, no outside analytics. The font and everything else load from this site only. Your settings, guest progress and login stay in this browser's local storage.
Purchases and refunds
Prices are in Canadian dollars, include sales tax, and are shown before you pay. Items show up in your account a few seconds after paying.
Shells you buy can be spent on balloon skins. Critters change gameplay, so they can only be unlocked with shells earned by playing.
Changed your mind, or something went wrong? Ask within 14 days for a full refund, and the item is removed from your account.
Your data, your choice
Delete your account any time from Settings. Your progress goes with it; payment records (with no personal details) are kept for refunds and accounting.
